Ooh lala! Bistek tagalog is one of my favorite pinoy dish (ulam). This recipe is simple easy and delicious ala Mama’s guide recipes. Happy cooking!
1kg beef sirloin, thinly sliced
100 ml cooking oil
2 pcs white onions, sliced in rings
20-25 pcs Calamansi
1 cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
Salt and pepper
Mama’s Guide Instructions:
1. Marinate beef sirloin in calamansi, soy sauce and pepper for 30 minutes or more. The longer rhe better it tastes! Set aside or place it in fridge.
2. After marinating, drain marinade and set aside. Heat pan using medium heat and pour cooking oil. Fry beef sirloin until it turns slightly brownish in color.
3. Add marinade sauce and simmer for a few more minutes.
4. Add onion slices and a little bit of salt and a teaspoon of sugar to add taste and turn off heat. Garnish with spring onions. Serve and enjoy!
