Here’s another yummy version you must try too, Sinigang Lechon Manok. Lechon Manok with Tamarind mix powder cooked in Turbo.
You’re probably curious of how it taste right? Yup it taste divine and delicious. Last year, we featured here in MGR fried chicken in Sinigang Mix, and it made a trending hit. I see some restaurants already introducing the adapted recipe. I’m not too sure where it originated though. Try it today, Sinampalukang Manok to the next level of yumminess.

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
3 stalks lemongrass (tanglad), pounded and chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 red onions, sliced
1 whole chicken
1 pack (22-gram) sinigang sa sampalok mix, (Knorr)
Pour soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce into chicken until absorbed. Stuffed lemongrass, onions and garlic inside chicken cavity.
Marinate, covered, in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Rub sinigang mix all over chicken, making sure to season all sides and under the skin.
Roast chicken, skin side up, in a turbo broiler set at 375°F for 30 minutes. Turn chicken over and cook for 15 minutes more. Serve immediately.
