When you can’t decide what to eat..why not try this simple and tasty recipe of Sizzling garlic mushrooms..yummmy!
1 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons butter
2 cans whole mushrooms
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon red cooking wine or (optional – beef stock also works or dissolved beef cubes)
3-4 tablespoon teriyaki sauce, adjust if you want saucy.(alternatives: soy sauce or oyster sauce)
¼ teaspoon salt, or to taste
freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 red and green bell pepper, cut into wedges
In a pan, heat the olive oil and butter using medium heat. Saute garlic for a few seconds. Toss in mushrooms until soften.
Add the red wine, teriyaki sauce, salt, and black pepper. Continue sauteing until the mushrooms are lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Then toss sliced bell peppers.
Adjust the heat to low and simmer until mushrooms are tender, 5 to 8 more minutes.
Transfer to a sizzling plate 3 minutes prior to being fully cooked (if available). Serve and enjoy!
