Paano Gumawa ng French Fries

Homemade Filipino Style, Tagalog Version Recipe of French Fries, super easy or dali lamang lutuin, lalo na kung may slicer ka ng patatas na nabibili online para mas equal at madali hiwain ng mga patatas or potatoes. Para mas maging healthy, gamitan ito ng extra virgin olive oil. Happy cooking!

SANGKAP:
2 cups olive oil/vegetable oil
1 kilogram medium potatoes, peeled
asin at paminta,
1 pack cheese/BBQ/Sour cream powder flavoring
Sauce: mayo-ketchup (recipe below) 

Equipment: an adjustable-blade slicer fitted with french fry or large (1/4-inch) julienne blade. Kung hindi ito available: hiwain na lang ang patatas ng pahaba o stick

PARAAN NG PAGLULUTO:
1) Painitin ang mantika mga 1 ½ inches ang taas sa isang pan.
2) Iprito ang hiniwang patatas sa MEDIUM-HIGH 160°C or 325ºF, (by batches lamang) mga 1 ½ minutes, hanguin at salain ilagay sa platong may paper towel. Hindi pa dapat golden brown, dahil dalawang beses po dapat itong ipi-prito.
3) Samantala, taasan ang temperature ng mantika o apoy sa HIGH 180°C or 350ºF. Ngayon ibalik ang mga patatas hanggang maging golden brown na ang mga ito.
4) Budburan ng asin at paminta or barbeque flavored powder or chopped fresh herbs kasama ng homemade gravy.

Mayo-Ketchup Recipe:
1 cup banana ketchup
1/2 cup Mayonnaise 
1 teaspoon of minced garlic (optional) 
1 teaspoon parsley
**Taste and adjust to your liking, you can add ingredients as you like. I want it garlicky though.
