Peaches And Cream Cake
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 package Pillsbury Premium Cake Mix (any Instant cake mix box), prepared according to package directions,
- 1 (14 oz.) can Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 teaspoon almond extract (flavoring)
- 1 (4-serving size) package instant vanilla pudding mix or homemade pudding**
- 2 cups heavy cream, whipped
- 4 cups prepacked peach slices (Dole or Del Monte in Supermarkets)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Slice cake across into two layers; arrange half of the slice on a cake stand or plate (bottom part). Set it aside.
- In another bowl, mix sweetened condensed milk, water and almond extract and combine well. Add pudding mix; beat well. Chill 5 minutes.
- Fold in whipped cream. Divide the mixture into halves and spread the first half of cream mixture over the bottom cake slice; arrange half the peach slices on the top.
- Top with remaining cake slice, cream filling and peach slices. You can use a piping bag to decorate the top of the cake and arrange slices of peaches in the center.
- Let it chill 4 hours in the refrigerator.
