Minatamis na Kamote, Saging at Sago

Minatamis na Kamoteng Kahoy, Saging at Sago

Ingredients:

2 cups  cassava, cubes (kamoteng kahoy) 
1 cup sliced saging na saba
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups water
½ cup langka, strips (alternative flavor pandan leaves)
1 cup sago, cooked

Instructions:

1. In small pot, mix sugar and water and stir until diluted. Let it boil over high heat and let it simmer until the liquid becomes syrupy in texture.

2. Add cassava cubes, cover pot and let it simmer until cassava becomes tender. You can check it with a fork. Next, add the sliced saging na saba, cooked sago and langka strips. Let it simmer for 2 or 3 minutes more. Remove from heat and transfer into serving bowl.

3. Serve and enjoy!
