Moringa Baby Food Puree – Super Food!

The most nutritious vegetable on the face of Earth according to scientist and experts. Miracle Baby Food! This recipe is like mixing tons of fruits and veggies in one puree. Yet, you only need two ingredients. It’s homemade, organic, anti oxidant and nutritious for 6 months old and up. It can be called the Most Nutritious vegetable baby food on the face of the earth! One of the reasons I wrote this is because I recently watched a documentary about malnourished babies. It’s a heartbreaking story of babies and kids who die because of malnutrition and poverty. This is my hot cup of malunggay oatmeal- ready for a grind in my blender

Malunggay Oatmeal Puree


  • 1 cup Malunggay leaves
  • 8 tbsp Instant oatmeal
  • 3 cups boiling hot water


  1. Blanch Malunggay leaves first, then mix the oatmeal to the bowl. Leave for a few minutes to cook.
  2. Once cool, put it inside the pitcher of the blender and grind it until smooth and pure.
  3. You may also add it to baby’s milk formula. Put 2oz malunggay oatmeal puree in feeding bottle then add water, shake it well then add the scooped powder milk for a 6oz water. Shake it well. Or you can make soft dice food shaped in ice cube trays.

Moringa Olfeira grows anywhere in the Philippines, most of my neighbor have their own tree. It grows as high as a two floor house. It looks beautiful in the backyard or garden with it’s secret amazing nutrients. But don’t worry, you can buy it in Amazon. If you want a tree plant, a seed, or a dried leaves. Having your own malunggay tree at the backyard is my best bet. First, you get it fresh and it doesn’t need a lot of attention and care. Just water it everyday and it grows as tall as your house in a year, you will never run out of fresh leaves even if you get a basket a day! My father also makes malunggay juice for his everyday health drink. He created his own Malunggay and lemon juice. And claimed he felt better everyday because of the pure malunggay juice with a dash of lemon for flavor.

Second, you can try dried malunggay leaves. It has the same nutrients with the fresh picked.
