My family just love this recipe, sizzling spicy hotdog. Delicious, simple and budget friendly too. This recipe is a bit spicy, but you can remove the hot sauce and siling haba to make it kid friendly.
2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1 cup Sweet Blend Ketchup or Banana Ketchup
1 Tbsp Hot Sauce (optional)
2 Tbsp Oil, for sauteing
500 g Hotdog, sliced diagonally
½ cup Onion, thinly sliced
½ cup Bell Pepper, cut into chunks
⅓ cup Margarine
1 pc Siling Haba, sliced diagonally (deseeded, optional)
1. In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, Sweet Blend Ketchup and hot sauce. Mix well until well combined.
2. In a pan, fry sliced hotdog in oil for about one minute. Then, add onion until soft and bell pepper. Saute for about one or two minutes more.
3. Then add the sauce mixture you prepared in step one to combine with hotdog. Add margarine and let it melt. Transfer into sizzling plate, add ling chili pepper or siling pang sigang.
Serve and enjoy with toasted garlic on top! Happycooking!
