IHOP Buttermilk Pancakes Recipe
INGREDIENTS
- 1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- 1-1/4 cups buttermilk
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- 1 pinch salt
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat a pan over low heat only.
- Mix all of the ingredients till combined.
- Melt a dot of butter in the pan, just to lightly grease (skip this if using non stick pan).
- Pour the batter by spoonful’s into the center of the hot pan, it will naturally spread out, forming a 5-inch circle.
- When the edges appear to harden, and there are little bubbles on the side, flip the pancake.
- They should be light golden brown
- Cook the pancakes on the other side until they are also golden brown.
