IHOP Buttermilk Pancakes Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1-1/4 cups buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 cup cooking oil
  • 1 pinch salt

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat a pan over low heat only.
  2. Mix all of the ingredients till combined.
  3. Melt a dot of butter in the pan, just to lightly grease (skip this if using non stick pan).
  4. Pour the batter by spoonful’s into the center of the hot pan, it will naturally spread out, forming a 5-inch circle.
  5. When the edges appear to harden, and there are little bubbles on the side, flip the pancake.
  6. They should be light golden brown
  7. Cook the pancakes on the other side until they are also golden brown.
  8. Enjoy!
