‍The whole family will love these Homemade Salisbury Steak, its quick and easy to make and don’t forget to add some steamed broccoli, mashed potatoes on the side and poached egg toppings. Yummy! This Homemade Salisbury steak can be mistaken for a restaurant platter meal. Happy cooking!

Homemade Salisbury Steak


  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoon garlic powder (fresh grated garlic)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 dash salt and pepper
  • 2 cups ready to cook packets of gravy or Homemade Gravy Recipe


1. Preheat oven to 350°F (176°C). Get a cookie sheet (baking tray) and cover it with foil. Set aside.

2.Use a large mixing bowl and add ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, ketchup, egg, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well with your hands. Make patties according to the size you want. Place patties on foiled cookie sheet.
3.Bake until done to your preference (for well done-30 minutes or so). Alternatively, you can just fry it in the pan until beef becomes brownish.
4.When patties are done, make gravy according to recipe instructions. Pour brown gravy on top and enjoy with some sliced fried potatoes, steamed veggies, beans and topped it with poached egg!
