Chocolate Coated Waffle Hotdogs

Chocolate Dipped Waffles

Chocolate Coated Waffle Hotdogs


  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 cup sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 tbsp. butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 6 chopped hotdogs

Beat egg well; beat in milk and lemon juice. Sift together baking soda, flour, baking powder, and salt; stir into egg-milk mixture. Fold in softened butter, grated cheese, and hotdogs. Bake in greased waffle iron.

Dip it in chocolate ganache with candy sprinkles.



284ml cream (heavy cream or all purpose)
1 level tbsp syrup
200g coarsely chopped chocolate (use dark chocolate for the best results)

Cook the cream in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Remove the saucepan once boiled.
Add in the syrup and stir well. Add the chopped chocolate into a mixing bowl.
Pour the heated mixture over the chocolate.
Mix until all the chocolate has melted.

Dip each waffle in chocolate ganache and some candy sprinkles.

Serve and enjoy!
