Pork Barbecue Special

Another version of Pork Barbecue Special you must try. Super yummy and tasty. Filipino style recipe Pork BBQ. 

Pork Barbecue Special

1 ½ or 2 kilograms pork shoulder
1 whole head garlic
½ cup soy sauce
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup ketchup
1 sachet oyster sauce (2 tablespoons)
12 oz Sprite/7-up soda
½ teaspoon pepper powder
1 tablespoon salt

1 bundle bamboo skewers, (soaked in water to prevent burning while grilling)

1. Slice the pork thinly like a pork steak and like bacon in length.
2. Crush and minced 1 whole head of garlic
3. In a bowl, combine all the marinade ingredients.
4. Add it to the prepared pork meat, mix it well.
5. Let it stand to marinate for one hour.
6. After an hour, you can start to skewer the pork. Reserve excess sauce for basting.
7. Prepare your charcoal griller and start grilling as usual. Keep turning and basting to keep it moist.
8. Prepare a spiced vinegar for the dipping sauce. (Vinegar, minced onions, garlic, pepper and chili pepper). Happy Grilling! 


Pork Barbecue Special (Filipino Language Version) 

1 ½ or 2 kilo kasim ng baboy
1 bawang na buo
½ cup toyo
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup ketchup
1 sachet oyster sauce (2 tablespoons) 
12oz. Sprite/ 7-up
½ kutsaritang pinong paminta
1 kutsara ng asin

1 bundle barbecue sticks, (soaked in water para d masunog kapag inihaw). 

1. Hiwain ang baboy na parang pang pork steak
2. Hiwain ang bawang ng pino at tadtarin. 
3. Pagsamasamahin lahat ng ingredients
4. Haluin ng maigi sa hiniwang baboy
5. Ibabad ng isang oras
6. Pagkatapos ng isang oras, maaari na itong tuhugin gamit ang barbecue stick bago ihawin. Gamitin ang extra marinade upang pang baste sa pork habang iniiihaw. Para sa sawsawan ay gumawa ng spiced vinegar.
