Cheesy Shrimp Recipe
1 kilograms shrimp, trimmed and cleaned
2 tablespoon butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 onion, minced
1 cup banana ketchup
1 cup cheese, grated (quickmelt or eden)
1 tablespoon Chili sauce (optional)
salt and pepper, to taste
1 In a wok, heat oil and fry the shrimp. Season with salt and let it cook for 2-3 minutes until pinkish or orange. Remove and transfer into a plate. Set aside.
2 In the same wok, melt butter to saute garlic and onions.
3 Add in banana ketchup and grated cheese. Let it simmer over low heat until sauce becomes thicker and saucy.
4 Add back the shrimp and let it cook for a few more seconds.
5 Transfer into a serving plate and top with more grated cheese on top to melt while it’s hot.
6 Serve and enjoy with fried rice.
