We are using the US standard size of measurement. If gagamit po kayo ng improvise na sukatan ay mahirap pong malaman kung mapeperfect mo po ang recipe.
Samantala, para malaman if luto na amg iyong maja blanca, tanchahin mo rin po ang lapot. Remember that the cornstarch mixture will solidify as it cools down. So kung pinatay mo ang apoy mo at sobrang lapot na ng maja blanca mo, pag lumamig po ito ay mas titigas pa. Kanya kanya rin po tyo ng preference sa firmness ng maja blanca.
Yung iba po ang gusto nila ay malambot lng at ang iba naman ay mas nais ang medyo firm at nagji-jiggle na maja blanca. So nasa sa inyo na po kung gaano ka firm ang gusto mo. Basta laging mag lagay ng allowance sa paglamig ng mixture.
Yummy Cheesy Corn Maja Blanca Recipe
2 cups cornstarch
4 cups coconut milk
1 cup Nestle cream or light cream
1.5 cups white sugar
3 cups evaporated or fresh milk
1 cup diced cheese
1 cup corn kernel
If you use fresh milk, your maja blanca will be heavenly white. If you use evap, the color of your evap will be the color of your maja blanca.
1. In a pot mix all the ingredients ( leave some corn and cheese for toppings later) mix well until the cornstarch is fully dissolved then cook over medium heat stirring well to avoid it from settling at the bottom of the pot. Continue stirring until the mixture becomes firm, allow to simmer for a while before transferring to a molding tray.
2. Pour to your desired container or molding tray then top with cheese and corn let cool and refrigerate before serving.
