This Jelly Flan recipe is also known as gelatin leche flan or lechetin. While others call it leche gulaman. It’s simple and delicious! It’s an egg and gelatin combo, it looks like and taste like leche flan. Must try..

Jelly Flan – Tagalog Version
1 lata ng condensed milk
1 lata evaporated milk
1 pakete ng powdered unflavored gelatin (piliin kung maari ang dilaw na kulay ng gelatin)
1/2 tasa ng asukal
1/2 litro ng tubig
4 pcs itlof
Arnibal (caramelized sugar)
Llanera or molde
Paraan ng Pagluluto:
Sa isang malaking mangkok, batihin ang mga itlog at ihalo ang gatas, asukal at tubig. Haluin maigi hangang matunaw ang asukal. Isantabi muna.
Kumuha ng isang kaserola, at ibuhos ang kalahating litro ng tubig at ilagay ang powdered gelatin. Haluin maigi.
Painitin sa mahinang apoy, (huwag pakuluin) Bago kumulo, ibuhos ang mixture ng itlog at gatas. Haluin maigi sa loob ng tatlong minuto at patayin na ang apoy.
Isalin ang nagawang mixture sa nakahandang lanera or hulmahan. Hayaan lumamig.
Kapag malamig na, maari mo ng baligtarin ang lanera sa malaking plato.
Buhusan ng arnibal sa ibabaw upang maging katulad sa itsura ng leche flan.

Jelly Flan – English Version
1 can condensed milk
1 can evaporated milk
1 sachet of powdered unflavored gelatin (preferably color yellow)
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 liter of water
4 pcs egg
Big round llanera molds
In a large bowl beat the eggs and mix the milk, sugar and water, stir until sugar is completely dissolved. Set aside.
In a large saucepan, put the 1/2 liter of water and add powdered gelatin. Stir well.
Bring the mixture to a near boil and pour in the egg and milk mixture. Stir well for about 3 minutes.
Pour the mixture into a llanera and allow to cool.
Remove from llanera and place on serving plate.
Pour caramelized sugar on top to mimic the leche plan appearance.
Serve and enjoy!
