1 whole duck ( cleaned and sliced to your desired size)
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium onion, minced
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 cups sprite
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
Bay leaves
salt if needed
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a pan, sauté garlic and onion. Once onion is transparent, add the duck and continue to sauté until the the meat is cooked somewhat white in color.
Pour the vinegar, soy sauce, bay leaves and sprinkle ground pepper. Simmer until the soy sauce color is evenly distributed in the meat. Next, pour Sprite and bring to a boil and simmer until the meat becomes tender.
Season with salt or Patis to taste. Simmer in low heat for 5 minutes more. Turn off heat.
