These Chocolate Chip Muffins with Condensed Milk is extra special because of this secret ingredient – condensed milk. Absolutely creamylicious plus topped with lots of mini chocolate chips. Its creamy and chocolatier in every bite. Mmmmm..yummmy!
Chocolate Chip Muffins with Condensed Milk
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Total time: 40 minutes
• 500g condensed milk (i used Milkmaid)
• 1.5 cups Plain flour
• 5 tbsp. Coco powder
• 1 tbsp. Baking powder
• 1/2 cup Water
• 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
• 4 Eggs
• 2 tsp Vanilla
• 1/2 cup Chocolate chips
In a large bowl, combine flour, coco powder, baking powder, condensed milk and water in and beat using an electric mixer (about 3 minutes) until the ingredients are well incorporated.
In another bowl, combine oil, eggs and vanilla for about 3 or 4 minutes. Gently add this wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.
Sprinkle chocolate chips and combine until well incorporated. But don’t over mix. Add some more chocolate chips, if you want more visible chocolate chips on top.
Scoop the batter into muffin cups and bake at 190°c for 20 minutes. (Always use the center rack of your oven to avoid toasting the bottom or top). Each oven varies in heat and temperature so always watch over on what you bake. You know you are in the right track if the smell is heavenly fresh baking. That is your best guide.
Note: Sprinkle more chocolate chips on top, if you want more visible chocolate chips on top before placing it in oven.
Insert toothpick in center if it comes out clean, then its already cooked. Turn of heat and transfer into a wire rack and let it cool completely.
