(Tagalog Version Recipe)

Crispy Chicken Adobo Flakes

INGREDIENTS:

1 kilo fresh chicken (breast part, skinless)

½ cup vinegar (125ml)

50 ml soy sauce

1 head garlic, minced

1 tbsp salt

1-2 tbsp brown sugar

2 pcs bay leaves

1 tsp crushed peppercorns

1 cup water (250ml)

Oil for frying

Optional Garnish:

4 butil ng bawang, toasted and minced (garnish)

2 pc Siling labuyo (if you like spicy)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Sa isang kaserola, ilagay ang lahat ng sangkap, (maliban sa mantika) at pakuluin gamit ang mataas na apoy. Pagkulo, ay i-adjust ang apoy sa mababa at patuloy itong pakuluan  40-50 minutes. Pagkatapos ay salain ang sabaw at tanggalin ang manok. Isantabi muna ang sabaw at manok.

Magpainit ng isang kawali at lagyan ng kaunting mantika. I-prito ang manok hanggang sa lumutong at maging crispy ito. Isantabi muli.

Sa isang maliit na kaldero, isalin ang sabaw at pakuluan hanggang sa lumapot ito. Timplahan pa ng kaunting kurot ng asin, asukal at pamintang durog kung kinakailangan upang maging swak sa panlasang masarap. Patayin ang apoy at isantabi muna.

Himayin ang karne ng inadobong manok. Lagyan ito ng sauce. Isalin sa isang baking tray. Hayaan ito ng isang oras upang manuot nito sauce na nilagay.

Salain, i-prito muli sa mainit na kawali na may mantika sa mababang apoy.

Haluin ng haluin sa loob ng 30-45 minuto o hanggang mag brown at lumutong ito.

Maari na itong ihain. Lagyan ng toasted garlic sa ibabaw at kung nais ng maanghang ay lagyan ito ng tinadtad na siling labuyo.
