Do you want a Sweet and Creamy Macaroni Salad style? My family’s favorite! This macaroni salad version has condensed milk that makes it oh so creamy delicious, while the Kaong and Nata de coco additions makes the macaroni less over pleasing. The  cheese will help add up some taste.

Sweet and Creamy Macaroni Salad is not your usual macaroni salad dessert, but this is definitely Filipino style Macaroni. Kids will surely love this Macaroni salad…oh so yummy sweet and juicy. This is so far the best filipino macaroni salad I’ve ever made.

Sweet and Creamy Macaroni Salad Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 450g elbow macaroni
  • 2-1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 small jar red kaong, drained
  • 1 small jar green nata de coco, drained
  • 1 can condensed milk ( less or more according to your desired taste)
  • 1 can all purpose cream
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1 medium can of pineapple tidbits
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese cut into cubes

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Cook elbow macaroni according to package directions.
  2. Drain, rinse under running water and allow to cool completely.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine macaroni and add rest of the ingredients. Gently stir together until evenly distributed.
  4. Refrigerate about 4 hours or overnight.
  5. Serve cold and enjoy!
