  • ½ cup all purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder

  • For Chocolate Ganache:
  • ¼ cup evaporated milk
  • 3 bar Goya milk chocolate (30g/pack)
  • *You may use any other brands of chocolate.
  • For the Toppings:
  • Scoops of Vanilla ice cream, upon serving
  • ½ cup Almond flakes

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. For the Ganache: In a saucepan, (over low heat only) simmer milk and add the chopped chocolate until melted. Mix until thickened but dont overcook, this will be just quick. Turn of heat. Set aside.
  3. Prepare an 8″ cast iron pan greased with oil and dusted with flour. If there is no cast iron pan, just use any pan for brownies. Set aside.
  4. In a saucepan, melt butter and turn off heat, and combine all other ingredients and mix it well. Then, transfer this mixture into the prepared greased cast iron pan. Spread out the mixture evenly in the center to all sides.
  5. Bake for about 25-30 minutes. Adjust cooking time as needed, it may be shorter than the prescribed time because each oven may vary in heat. So watch over to avoid over cooking.
  6. Assembly: Pour the chocolate ganache over the freshly baked hot brownies, then top it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and garnish with almond flakes. Enjoy!
