Crispy Camote Fries

Ingredients:
1/2 kg Kamote, peeled and cut into 1 inch strips.
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp sugar
pinch of salt
water just enough to make a thin batter
Oil for deep frying

Instructions:

Combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Mix together then slowly add water.

Mix until batter mixture is thin and smooth.
Heat oil in pan.

Dip the Kamote strips into the batter mixture.

Fry the kamote for about 5-8 minutes or until light golden brown.

Drain excess oil using paper towels. Sprinkle salt.

Serve and enjoy!
