Tiramisu (Filipino Style Recipe)
A quick and delicious Tiramisu (Filipino Style Recipe) made with coffee-soaked sponge fingers (lady finger biscuit) with sweet creamy layers. It has a great flavour and is so quick and easy to make. Party dessert and taste so yummy!
16 pcs sponge finger or lady finger “Broas”
2 cups Vanilla Iced Coffee or strong warm coffee
15 oz cream cheese or ricotta cheese
2 pack nestle cream (or best with whipping thickened cream)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup sugar or sweetened condensed milk
2 tbs cocoa powder, for dusting
In a medium bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar and vanilla extract.
Fold in cold nestle cream and set aside.
In a bowl, soak the sponge fingers in Vanilla Iced Coffee and layer on the bottom of your dish.
Add a layer of cream. Soak the remaining sponge fingers in Vanilla Iced Coffee and layer on top of cream.
Layer remaining cream on top of sponge fingers.
Place in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours to chill or freeze. Before serving, sprinkle top with cocoa powder using a fine strainer.
Tip: You can cut off paper patterns and place it on top before sprinkling top with cocoa powder. Carefully remove the paper pattern using thongs after.
