SCOTCH EGGS RECIPEA Scotch egg consists of a hard-boiled egg wrapped in sausage meat, coated in breadcrumbs and baked or deep-fried. Yummy! For this recipe, you can use any sausage you like.

SCOTCH EGGS RECIPE

SCOTCH EGGS RECIPE (Tagalog Version)

INGREDIENTS:
¼ kilo sausage
6 pcs hard boiled egg
1 sibuyas na puti
¼ tsp pamintang durog
1 tbsp parsley chopped
¼  tsp cajun (optional) or paprika
1-2 tbsp cornstarch
1 cup bread crumbs
2 pcs beaten egg

Cooking oil, (for deep fry)

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Tadtarin ng pino ang mga sangkap maliban sa hard boiled egg

2. Pagsamahin maigi ang mga sangkap sa isang bowl. Lagyan ng kaunting cornstarch o harina, ilagay sa freezer ng 5-10 minutes para mag set ng kaunti at madaling i-mold sa itlog.

3.Ibalot ang mixture sa nilagang itlog

4. Dahan dahan itong ilubog sa binating itlog at pagulungin sa breadcrumbs.

5. Painitin ang mantika sa isang malalim at maliit na kaldero. Gumamit ng mahinang apoy kapag mainit na ng bahagya upang maiwasan masunog ang scotch eggs.

6. Gumamit ng sandok na may mga butas at dahan dahan ilubog ang isang pirasong scotch egg sa mainit na mantika hanggang maging golden brown ang kulay. Lutuin ng paisa isa lamang at huwag pagsabayin lahat sa kaldero.

7. Hanguin agad ang scotch eggs at huwag iiwan sa kaldero kapag nakuha na ang golden brown na kulay. Isalin sa isang plate na may paper towels.

Maaring ihain na may kasamang sweet chili sauce na magugustuhan ng mga bata. Enjoy!
