Yaahoo Balls is made of Yaahoo Biscuits. A product of WL Foods, they are also the maker of Tattoos. These biscuit are sold in different flavors like Cheese, Milk Flavor, Chocolate and Mocha.
You can actually use any affordable biscuits available in your place or even graham crackers to make Graham balls. Another home base food business idea you can venture while at home.
It’s a snack that you can buy locally in any sari-sari store, local market, and supermarkets at an affordable price. The assorted flavors of this Yaahoo biscuit is what makes it a bit different to using crushed grahams. Choose your favorite flavor. Happy cooking!
3 cups crushed Yaahoo Biscuits, any flavor (+ 2 tbsp for dusting)
1 cup condensed milk (+ a little bit more if needed)
1 pack Bear brand powdered milk (8 pesos Sakto Pack)
chocolate candies or marshmallows for filling
mini-marshmallows, sprinkles, or colored sugar for garnish
Use a blender or food processor to crush the biscuit. If blender is not available, you can crush it in its own packaging and use a rolling pin or bottle. Use a strainer if needed to even out the powder quality of crushed biscuit.
In a bowl, add crushed Yaahoo biscuits. Pour in your condensed milk in little batches at a time. Mix it well until you get the exact texture you are looking for. (Not to wet but not to dry). It should look like a dough.
Add a bit more crushed biscuits if it’s wet and a bit more condensed milk if its too dry.
(Using plastic gloves)
Scoop about a tablespoon of the mixture into your palm and shape it into one inch balls. Add a piece of marshmallow or chocolate candy in the center and cover everything with mixture to form a ball.
Roll the balls in bear brand powdered milk (crushed biscuits or cocoa powder, confectioners sugar or candy sprinkles).
Chill it before serving. Enjoy!!!!
