This special beef caldereta recipe is just amazing. Simple, easy to follow and made sure that the beef is very tender. The secret to any beef recipe is the tenderness of your beef. Otherwise, no matter how tasty it could be, it ends up failed if the beef is hard to bite. Its always good to use a pressure cooker though whenever you cook a beef. However, cooking beef in regular pot is still ok, but it takes a little longer to make it tender.
How to choose Beef for Caldereta:
Make sure to choose the best cut of beef brisket, choose the reddish part without the tendons (white part or malitid na baka). The litid (tendons) are too fatty and its hard to make it tender.
