This Beef Nacho Recipe is an amazing appetizer recipe too. If you’re planning to host a quick overnight with friends, say Superbowl or movie marathon. This beef nachos recipe is simple, quick and of course super delish! You can elevate the taste by adding your favorite fresh chop herbs like, spring onions, or cilantro etc. Happy cooking!
BEEF NACHOS FILIPINO STYLE
1/2 kilo lean ground beef
1 pack 40g McCormick Taco seasoning mix
2 large tomatoes, minced,
1 large onion, minced
½ cup sliced black olives
1 cup finely chopped cabbage
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup cheese dipping sauce (or cheese spread)
1 large pack of nacho chips
1 tablespoon cooking oil
1 green chilies, minced (optional)
Season the beef with the taco seasoning and mix it well in the beef. In a pan, heat an oil over medium heat. Sauté onions until it becomes soft.Toss the seasoned beef and continue to cook until it turns brownish in color and cooked through (about 10-15 minutes).
Drain oil, remove beef and transfer it in a bowl with paper towels to remove excess oil.
In a large serving plate, arrange the nachos in layers. Top with desire amount of grated cheese, beef, cabbage, tomatoes, green chilies and sliced black olives. Drizzle with sour cream and cheese spread as desired.
Serve and enjoy!
