Sweet Chili Crabs Recipe

These Sweet Chili Crabs looks so yummy and definitely taste so good. Super spicy hot crabs with a touch of sweetness. Finger lickin good seafood at its best. You’re going to crave for it for so many days, and finaly one day you’ll be able to cook it. Don’t ever missed out on this recipe. Happy cooking!


2-3 lbs mud crabs
5 tbsp oyster Sauce
3 tbsp UFC Banana Catsup
1 1/2 tbsp sriracha (alternative: hot sauce)
2 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp butter
1 medium onion
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp cooking oil
3 red chili pepper (labuyo),
minced chopped spring onions, garnish

Using clean toothbrush, wash and clean crabs in running water. Scrub the shells and the abdomen, claws and feet thoroughly.

In a large pot, bring water to a boil, add salt and pepper and boil crabs for a few minutes. Turn of heat, drain water and set aside the crabs.

In a large wok, heat oil and melt the butter over low heat. Sauté garlic and onions until it becomes fragrant.

Add in oyster Sauce, ketchup, sriracha and brown sugar. Mix it, until well combined. Toss in the boiled crabs. (Optional: You may add a tablespoon of cooking rice wine to add more flavour to it if you have in your pantry)

Let it boil and simmer over medium to low heat for another 10 minutes.

Serve hot and garnish with chopped spring onions. Serve and enjoy!
