Cakes and No Bake Cakes



Homemade Chocolate Vanilla Marble cake for Mother’s Day or any special occasion. This was really soft, moist and with perfect amount of sweetness.



2 cups flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
¼ tsp salt
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
½ cup oil
1 cup milk
3-4 drops Vanilla essence
2-3 drops Yellow Food Color
2 tbsp cocoa powder dissolved in 2-3 tbsp milk.


For dry ingredients:
In a bowl, sift the the flour and baking powder together. Set aside.

For wet ingredients:
In a mixing bowl, beat eggs with sugar and oil till pale. Add milk and vanilla essence. Keep beating.

Add dry into wet ingredients. Using spatula fold the batter until just combined. Do not overmix the batter.

Divide the batter in 2 portion.
For the first batch of batter drop 2-3 drops of yellow food color. Set aside.

For the second batch of batter add 2 tbsp cocoa powder dissolved in 2-3 tbsp milk.

Pour the first batter in the prepared cake tin and then the second batter. Make swirls so that you get the desired design.

Bake it at 150°C for 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let it cool in the wire rack once done. Serve and enjoy!
