Reuben Sandwich Recipe

Reuben Sandwich Recipe

This delicious Reuben Sandwich is a classic century old recipe since 1914 in the United States. It is packed with corned beef filling, sauerkraut or coleslaw, ooey gooey cheese and a russian dressing. So yummy!

But the best part is you can make it at home even without the sauerkraut and russian dressing. It is much closer to Filipino’s taste bud.

They’re almost the same or somewhat closer with the alternative ingredients I used. You may substitute it with coleslaw and thousand island dressing.

However, you can always follow the classic recipe which we have provided too.

For some who is not familiar with sauerkraut, it is a finely cut raw cabbage that has been fermented by various lactic acid bacteria. It has a distinctive sour flavor and long shelf life. You can purchase it in the Philippines at Lazada in bottles for about a minimum price of 250 pesos.
