Surprise the family with this new special Sesame Pork Ribs menu. Try it this weekend and they will be amazed, it taste like restaurant recipe!

Marinated from different spices and condiments, this recipe is absolutely for keeps. Its tasty and so delicious, specially with the sesame seeds. My kitchen smelled so good!



1 kilogram pork ribs (buto-buto)
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup light soy sauce
½ cup hoisin sauce
¼ cup oyster sauce
2 teaspoon brown sugar
½ cup orange juice
¼ cup calamansi juice

½ litre water
2 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon sesame seeds, toasted


1. Season pork ribs with salt and pepper.

2. Marinate pork ribs with the rest of the ingredients except for water, sesame oil and sesame seeds. Let it stand for about 1 hour or more.

3. In a casserole with  ½ litre water, add the pork ribs including the marinade. Bring it to a boil and just let it simmer for 45 minutes until tender.

4. Strain pork ribs from the liquid and set it aside for later use.

5. In a pan over low heat, add the sesame oil and fry the pork ribs until brown on the side for about 5 minutes. Transfer to a serving platter and set aside.

6. Simmer the remaining liquid until it becomes saucy and thick. Turn off heat.

7. Pour this over the fried pork ribs and garnish with toasted sesame seeds and spring onions on top. Serve hot with steamed rice. Enjoy!



1 kilo baboy (buto-buto)
1 kutsarita ng pamintang durog
½ kutsarita ng asin
½ tasang light soy sauce
½ tasa ng hoisin sauce
¼ tasa ng oyster sauce
2 kutsara ng asukal na pula
½ tasa ng orange juice
¼ tasa ng kalamansi

½ litro ng tubig
2 kutsara ng sesame oil
1 kutsarita ng sesame seeds


1. Timplahan ng asin at paminta ang buto-buto ng baboy.

2. I-marinate ang buto-buto ng baboy kasama ang lahat ng marinade ingredients sa loob ng isang oras or mahigit pa. (maliban sa tubig, sesame oil at sesame seeds)

3. Sa isang kaserola, ilagay ang tubig, buto-buto ng baboy kasama ng marinade sauce. Pakuluan sa loob ng 45 minuto hanggang sa lumambot.

4. Hanguin ang buto-buto ng baboy at ihiwalay ang pinagpakuluan para sa sauce mamaya.

5. Sa isang pan gamit ang mahinang apoy,  i-prito ang pork ribs sa sesame oil sa loob ng 5 minuto. Ilagay sa isang lalagyan na panghain.

6. Palaputin ang pinagpakuluan ng baboy para maging sauce. Patayin ang apoy kapag malapot na.

7. Ilagay ang sauce sa ibabaw ng pork ribs. Budburan ng sesame seeds sa ibabaw at tinadtad na dahon ng sibuyas. I-hain kasama ng kanin. Enjoy!
