Nachos Overload

You have to try this simple, easy Filipino style Nachos Overload. Super delicious and yummy! Perfect for the budget conscious.

NACHOS OVERLOAD

INGREDIENTS:

¼ kilogram Ground pork or beef
1 tbsp Butter
1 White onion, minced
4 cloves Garlic, minced
1 tbsp Cheese, minced
3 tbsp Soy sauce
1 tsp Liquid seasoning
1 tbsp Sugar
½ tsp Pepper
½ tsp Chili powder
Salt, to taste

Toppings:
Cooked ground pork
¼ Cabbage, thinly sliced
3 Tomatoes, minced
1 White onion, minced
1 green Bell pepper, Jalapeno, or chili pepper if you like it spicy
3 tbsp Cilantro or Parsley leaves (Optional)
½ cup Grated cheese
4 tbsp Cheese pimiento, drizzled
4 tbsp Mayonaise, drizzled

1 big pack Nacho Chips

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Sliced Cabbage very thinly and blanch in hot water with pinch of salt to half cook. Set aside. (Drain from water thoroughly before adding to nachos.)

2. In a pan, melt butter over low heat. Saute onions and garlic until fragrant. Add in ground pork and let it cook until brownish.

3. Season with soy sauce, liquid seasoning, chilli pepper powder, ground pepper, cheese and sugar. Mix well until all the seasoning are incorporated. Drain from oil and set it aside. Let it cool.

4. Assembly: In a large plate, spread out the nachos all over the plate, then layer the toppings one by one. Cabbage, ground pork, onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, grated cheese, parsley, drizzled cheese whiz pimiento and drizzled mayonaise.

Ready to serve. Dig in and enjoy!
