This Beef Curry Recipe is stewed in coconut milk until it becomes very tender. The curry and coconut milk smelled so delicious together with some crisp broccoli to add freshness to the taste. Simply perfect!

BEEF CURRY RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

½ kilogram beef chuck (or beef sirloin, for fast cooking)
3 tbsp butter (or margarine)
1 white onion, minced
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups coconut milk
1 tbsp curry powder
1 inch ginger, grated
salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 cup chopped broccoli (optional) 
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp sugar
salt and pepper, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Season beef with salt and pepper. Set aside. (For faster cooking of beef, sliced it thinly or use sirloin beef)

2. In a pan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir fry beef for about 2 to 4 minutes or until it turns slightly brown. Move the beef on the side of the pan. 

3. Saute garlic, onions and ginger until fragrant. Add in curry, cayenne pepper and worcestershire sauce. 

4. Stir the spices with the beef until well blended. Add in coconut milk and let it simmer for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Stirring occasionally to prevent coconut milk from curdling.

5. Once the beef becomes tender. Add in chopped broccoli. Let it cook until broccoli is half cooked. 

6. Adjust taste and season with sugar, salt and pepper. Turn off heat and transfer into serving bowl. 

Serve with steamed rice. Enjoy!
