
Got loads of extra apples sitting on the pantry? Why not turn them into easy homemade, all natural apple marmalade. This sweet and delicious marmalade is also good when you add some orange juice and orange zest for add-on flavor. Happy cooking!

EASY APPLE MARMALADE
INGREDIENTS:
1 kilogram Apples (about 5 pcs)
125ml Water (about ½ US cup)
1 cup Sugar
1/2 sliced of orange, juiced
1/2 tsp orange zest
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Slice the apples, remove the seeds and core. Then, chop it into pieces (no need to peel).
2. In a saucepan, add all the ingredients and cook it over low heat until the apples are very soft. Let it cook until it turns into a purée consistency.
3. Turn off heat and let it cool. Press mixture through a sieve or a strainer. Alternatively, you can use a blender or a food processor.
4. Pour into sterilized glass jars and cover it tightly. Let chill in the fridge before serving.
Shelf life:
If properly bottled and sealed with tight cover it may last inside the fridge for up to 3 months.
