Paksiw na Ulo ng Tilapia
2-3 pieces tilapia head, cleaned, scales removed and cut diagonally into half or into 3 parts
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 onion, sliced
1 thumb-sized ginger, sliced thinly
½ cup vinegar (mas masarap kung red cane vinegar)
1 cup water
1 teaspoon cooking oil
1 teaspoon peppercorn
2 teaspoon salt
2 green chili (siling haba)
1-2 pcs tanglad (lemongrass)
- In a pot, place tilapia, garlic, onion, ginger, dahon ng tanglad, salt and peppercorn.
- Add water, vinegar and cooking oil then add vegetables and green chili.
- Place the pot lid and simmer in a medium heat for 10-15 minutes or until tender.
- Remove from heat and Serve.
