Quick and easy Honey Garlic Sauce, specially good for any grilled or crispy fried chicken wings, pork chop, fried shrimp or meatballs. So yummy, try it!
Honey Garlic Sauce Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups chicken broth
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup honey
¼ cup soy sauce
6 cloves garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon ginger, minced
Slurry (sauce thickener):
¼ cup water + corn starch
INSTRUCTIONS:
Combine the first 6 ingredients in a small sauce pot and let it boil for 5-10 minutes. Reduce heat and continue to simmer for 10 minutes. Keep stirring to prevent scorching.
To make the sauce thicker and shiny, add 1 tablespoon cornstarch with ¼ cup water. Then add it into the sauce. Let it cook for a minute or two until sauce is thickened.
